Great Smoky Mountain Nature Sounds: Frogs and Friends. I made nighttime visits to numerous ponds and small lakes before recording this Moonlight Serenade deep in the Great Smoky Mountains. It begins at dusk and continues 74 minutes into the night. The sound continually changes as darkness descends upon the water. I especially like the bullfrogs and the critter with the hiccups.
